About Steve Wilson

S.W. Wilson: Bespoke & Custom Clothier is a family operated business passed down through four generations, currently celebrating 100 years of custom suit tailoring. The legacy began in 1911, when Steve Wilson’s great grandfather, Clyde Jess Wilson, started as a bench tailor in Ohio. Clyde grew the business by creating true bespoke suits for his clients. Every suit was individually made-to-measure using handpicked, quality fabrics. Following WWI, Steve’s grandfather, Leo Wilson, joined his father, Clyde, adding a men’s retail clothing portion to the bespoke suit business. This offered clients a wider range of price options, while maintaining a high quality line. The third Wilson in the tradition was Thomas Wilson, Steve’s father, who joined the custom suit-making business after WWII. In 1970, his son, Steve Wilson, joined his father and accompanied his family in the fabrication of high-quality suits. In 2008, Steve Wilson brought the family business westward to Phoenix, Arizona. Steve’s 41 years of growing up in this family business has given him the skills to offer the best in bespoke and custom suit cuts, construction, and quality.
